This machine Electronic Control Module (machine ECM) is an aftermarket replacement for Caterpillar part numbers 172-9391 machine ECM (1729391) and 10R-4331 (10R4331). It is used across a wide range of Caterpillar equipment including G-series and H-series wheel loaders, off-highway and quarry trucks, 143H / 163H motor graders, D5N / D6N track-type tractors, wheel dozers, landfill and soil compactors, mining excavators and road reclaimers.
During remanufacturing the circuit board is inspected under magnification, failed or heat-stressed components are replaced, and the housing seals and connector pins are checked for moisture damage. Every module is then powered up on a test bench to confirm it restores original operating parameters.
