The 176-7503 ECM / 10R-4096 / 10R-4087 Engine controller is a direct replacement engine control module, fits for Caterpillar 3508, 3512 and 3516 (including B-series) engines in generator sets, marine, locomotive, industrial and mining applications.
Each remanufactured module is disassembled, inspected and restored to the published 176-7503 part-number specification. Before dispatch every unit is powered up on the bench and function-tested for power-up, data link communication and input/output response, then programmed to your engine free of charge so it arrives ready to install and restore factory-specified performance.

Installation Notes: Installation and removal of the engine control module should be carried out by an experienced technician. Shut the engine down, apply lockout/tagout on generator sets and marine installations, and disconnect the batteries before unplugging the ECM. Keep connectors clean and dry, and verify engine operation with a service tool once installed.
