Product Details
This display monitor (electronic display / monitor group) is an aftermarket replacement for Caterpillar reference numbers 355-9048 (3559048) and 459-2220 (4592220). It is used on Caterpillar machines and engines including C7 to C32B industrial, petroleum and locomotive engines, C280 marine engines, 966D to 980G wheel loaders, 621B to 637D wheel tractors, 777B to 777D trucks and D8R / D10N / D10R track-type tractors.
The monitor has a bronze information display screen in an ABS plastic housing, with three 12-pin and two 6-pin harness connectors. 459-2220 is the replacement part number for 355-9048, so units supplied against either number cover the same installation.
During remanufacturing the circuit board is inspected under magnification, failed or heat-stressed components are replaced, and the housing seals and connector pins are checked for moisture damage. Every module is then powered up on a test bench to confirm it restores original operating parameters.
