10R-5648 (10R5648) remanufactured engine control module — a direct-replacement ECM carrying the broadest application list in this family, from 324D and 329D excavators through 345C, 349D and 390D machines to 770 / 772 trucks, 657 wheel tractors, the 836H compactor and C175-16 locomotive engines.
The 10R prefix is the remanufactured numbering convention, and this unit is supplied as a remanufactured module accordingly. Cores are stripped, boards ultrasonically cleaned and inspected under magnification, and the components with the shortest service life in the field — supply regulators, driver outputs and the solder around the connector headers — are replaced with new parts.
